Horace Mann Middle School will host its back-to-school night for parents from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10.

Horace Mann parents will report to their child’s first class and then proceed to each class throughout their child’s schedule, spending 10 minutes in each classroom. They will meet teachers, see some of their students work and sign up for parent/teacher conferences. The class that brings the most parents from each grade level will win a pizza party.

At 5:30 p.m. the school will host a barbeque complete with Mariachi music, face painting and drawings for prizes such as a computer, boom box and CD player. Over 40 community agencies and organizations will provide information.
