Montclair Elementary School is inviting its students and families to participate in a family literacy series. The evening gatherings will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the school.

The first session is Thursday, Sept. 25 on “the importance of reading aloud at home.” The second session is Thursday, Oct. 30 on “helping your child learn to read.” And the third is Thursday, Dec. 11 on “good books.”

The evening includes pizza, drinks, door prizes and a free book for each child. The school will also organize special reading rooms for every age group. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
