Superintendent Jerry Wartgow will speak at the Lions Club meeting today (Tuesday, Sept. 2). The meeting begins at noon at Maggiano’s Little Italy Restaurant, 500 16th St. Superintendent Wartgow’s remarks are expected to begin at about 12:45 p.m.

The Lions Club of Denver is an organization of active men and women who work to enrich the community through service in a wide spectrum of top-flight projects and programs. Members represent a broad cross-section of Denver-area executives and community leaders. The Lions Club tradition dates back to 1917.
