Palmer Elementary School will host its annual field day event on Tuesday May 13. The fun starts at 9:15 a.m. at the school, 995 Grape St.

Students will rotate through the following stations: jump rope, 50 yard dash, three-legged race, tug-of-war, potato sack race, basketball shootout, bubbles, running long jump, running relays, dancing and endurance running.

Field Day is a traditional end-of-the-year elementary school event coordinated by the physical education teacher. It allows students to have fun while showing off their physical skills and celebrate completion of another fun and educational school year.

Palmer Elementary is a successful neighborhood school in the DPS system, proud of its students’ diversity and achievements.
