The Oakland Elementary School CDM Playground Committee will host a silent auction Thursday, May 8 to raise funds for new playground equipment. The event will begin at 6 p.m.

The evening will begin with a spaghetti dinner for $3 per person and follow with the silent auction in the gymnasium. Over 75 quality gift certificates, electronics, home furnishings and student art projects available will be available for bidding.

All proceeds will be used for the development and purchase of new playground equipment.
