Find out “What’s In Your Backyard” during Science Night from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 28 at Cole Middle School, 3240 Humboldt St. Students, parents and staff will have the opportunity to experience Starlab - a portable planetarium in which a large dome is set up inside a building and the night sky is projected onto the dome ceiling. This 20-minute program is provided through a scholarship from the Denver Museum of Science.
Participants also will have the opportunity to view science projects created by sixth through eighth grade students. Projects range from experiments focusing on the human body, plants, compost, space and much more.
