From 1-3 p.m. Saturday, May 3, the Chipotle gourmet burrito and taco restaurant at 6th and Broadway (no other locations) will donate 100 percent of the $5 customers pay for lunch to the northwest area’s Denver SCORES program.

Denver SCORES is an arts and athletics after school program in eight northwest area elementary schools. Funding permitted, it will expand to include eight more schools.

The unique program combines a curriculum of creative writing (two days a week) and playing soccer (three days a week). This is the only after school activity for many of the students served by Denver SCORES. The program aims to advance abilities in leadership, communication and teamwork and cultivate values in discipline, good decision-making and positive self-expression.
