Because of last week’s school closures due to weather, George Washington, Montbello, North and West high schools have rescheduled their Colorado Student Assessment Program (CSAP) testing days for freshmen and sophomores to Wednesday, April 2 through Friday, April 4.
The schools were originally scheduled to administer CSAP tests Tuesday, March 18 through Thursday, March 20.
Buses for those four high schools will run on a special schedule during testing. Ninth- and tenth-graders will arrive at school at the regular start time of 7:30 a.m.
Eleventh- and twelfth-graders will be picked up three and one-half hours later than their normally-scheduled bus pick up time. (Late morning pick up times will be posted at schools Monday or Tuesday.) All students will be released at the regularly-scheduled end of the school day at 2:45 p.m.
“It’s important that freshmen and sophomores are in attendance during CSAP testing,” said Wayne Eckerling, Assistant Superintendent. ” We want to thank everyone for their support in helping with student readiness, including parents, bus drivers, nutrition services personnel and instructional staff.”
Students who are not in attendance during the testing will be scheduled to make up the exams the following week.
