The Center for International Studies will host the 10th Annual International Festival on Friday, April 11 in the gymnasium at West High School, 951 Elati St. The event will run from 2:45 - 8:30 p.m.
The International Festival was created to promote awareness of diversity and foreign cultures though an energetic and lively atmosphere. This year’s celebration will include intercultural food, games, booths and entertainment. There will also be an art show on display as well as a panel discussion.
Some of the organizations that will be represented at the celebration include The Mizel Museum, The Colorado Youth Pipe Band, Denver Taiko Drummers, and Denver Sister Cities.
The Center for International Studies is a magnet program that offers students an international education through emphasis on travel, foreign exchange, international business, economy and political science. The program is hosted at West High School.
