Dr. Linda Silverman will be discussing the visual-spatial learner at Crofton Elementary School, 2409 Arapahoe St., on at 7 p.m. Tuesday Feb. 25.
Silverman will also be signing copies of her recently published book, “Upside-Down Brilliance: The Visual-Spatial Learner.” The book discusses the challenges that a visual-spatial learner must deal with on a daily basis.
Silverman states that one third of the population thinks in images - these are visual-spatial learners. As students, these learners can be disorganized, have little sense of time and struggle with spelling. However, Silverman says that visual-spatial learners have been at the forefront of such brilliant creations as the computer, the Internet and the international space station.
This event is open to the public. Those wishing to attend or receive more information should contact Diana Howard at (303) 292-4629.
