Volunteers Sought To Assist With Hands-On Science Program - CLOUT

The Coalition for Learning Opportunities and United Tutors (CLOUT) is an after-school reading and “hands on” science program for fourth-grade students who could use a little assistance in increasing their reading and science skills.

CLOUT is significantly expanding throughout the Denver Public Schools and is in full swing at three elementary schools: Del Pueblo (750 Galapago), Goldrick (1050 S. Zuni), and Mitchell (1350 E. 33rd Ave).

Remington Elementary School (4735 Pecos St.) is ready to begin the program once there are enough volunteers to tutor the students on a “one-on-one” basis. Volunteers are needed from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Remington, Del Pueblo or Goldrick Elementary Schools.

For more information please contact Patrisia Navarro, patrisia_navarro@nrel.gov, (303) 275-3080.
