The Denver School of the Arts, Video Cinema Arts Department is proud to present its bi-annual film festival on Thursday, Jan. 9 and Friday, Jan. 10.

Both evenings begin at 6:30 p.m. at the school, 150 S. Pearl St.

The two-day festival highlights student moviemakers from grades six through 12. Movie projects feature silent films, computer and clay animations, story adaptations, and more.

The event will begins with a silent auction; films will begin at 7:00 p.m. The cost for the festival is $5 for adults and $2 for students.

The Video Cinema Arts Department students are local and national winners in the DAFFY Film Festival, and the Scholastic Arts Competition.

All proceeds will help to purchase new video equipment for the Video Cinema Arts Department.
