Force Elementary School will hold a Celebration of Chinese, Vietnamese and Japanese Cultures on Friday, Jan. 31.

Two assemblies, one at 9:30 a.m., one at 10:30 a.m., will be held. Among the performers will be Abraham Lincoln High School students doing the Umbrella Dance. Force students will participate in a fashion show wearing costumes from eight different countries and a Japanese harpist will play the Koto, a Japanese harp.

All students will receive a Red Pocket with a lucky penny, as well as a fortune cookie. The Force Elementary School staff wishes all celebrants “Happy New Year!”
