McMeen Elementary School first-graders will perform a multicultural holiday musical on Thursday, Dec. 19. The performance will be in the McMeen auditorium beginning at 6:30 p.m.

The first grade students will be dressed up in gift boxes. Led by vocal and general music teacher Erik Singer, the students will sing songs and recite poems about many different holiday traditions.

Also on Thursday, Dec. 19 students at Marie L. Greenwood Elementary School will present “Around The World At Christmas” beginning at 6:30 p.m. Music teacher Evelyn Roberts leads the Greenwood students.

Also, in the spirit of the holidays, congratulations to a successful non-perishable food drive at Force Elementary School (1550 S. Wolff St.), where 3,500 items were collected for the community Ministry of Southwest Denver Food Bank. The fourth-grade class led by Theresa Winslow collected 801 items alone.
