Montbello High School and Montbello Community Churches are joining together in an outreach effort this Thanksgiving. They plan on feeding a turkey dinner to more than 1200 people in the Montbello Cafeteria (5000 Crown Blvd.) The Montbello Student Council and National Honor Society will help host the event on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2002 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Montbello High School Principal Hansel Gunn says the theme of the dinner is “To Touch a Hurting World.” “We want to bring harmony and unity to the community,” said Gunn. “You’ve got to eat turkey. Why not eat it with us?”
