Parent Information Meeting For Rosedale Elementary School’s Character Literacy Project

Community Resources, Inc., a non-profit organization that has worked with Denver Public Schools for 30 years, is presenting the Character Literacy Project to all students at Rosedale Elementary School this year.

Parents are invited to an informational meeting about the project on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2002 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Rosedale (2330 S. Sherman St.). The project uses children’s literature to teach positive character traits. Each class will receive six volunteer-led presentations throughout the year. Each presentation consists of a story, a discussion and an activity to reinforce the positive character trait within the lesson.

CRI will also be conducting the Character Education Project at Bradley elementary and Remington elementary schools. For additional information, contact Linda Sari 303-782-0975.
