| Eliot Street Café’s yearly Oktoberfest Buffet will be held Friday, Oct. 11. The restaurant, located at 2650 Eliot Street, is open to the public. A German Buffet will be served from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. For only $5.95, restaurant patrons can enjoy a variety of traditional Oktoberfest gourmet food.
The Eliot Street Café is part of the Culinary Arts program offered at the Fred N. Thomas Career Education Center. The Culinary Arts program teaches students baking, quantity food preparation, restaurant management and customer service.
The Culinary Arts Students have been working on traditional German food, and the Oktoberfest Buffet will give the students a chance to demonstrate their culinary skills.
