Thirty-six teachers from Shanghai, China are visiting University Park Elementary School as part of their work with the Chinese Teacher Training Program at the University of Denver.

One-third of the teachers are visiting today (Oct. 28).  Another one-third will visit Tuesday, Oct. 29 and another one-third on Wednesday, Nov. 13.

Following the classroom observations the visiting teachers will share lunch and conversation with the teachers at University Park.  “As visitors to University Park they are able to observe different styles of pedagogy and classroom management,” said University Park principal Katherine Johnson.
