Dr. John Crawford, Manager of the Early Education Department of Denver Public Schools, has been invited to speak at the 4th Annual International Step by Step Association (ISSA) Conference in November in Vilnius, Lithuania. The conference is entitled “Partnership with Families and Communities: Together is Better.”

The conference will bring together educators from 29 countries involved in early childhood education reform projects in Central and Eastern Europe, the Baltic States, countries of the former Soviet Union, Mongolia and Haiti.

Dr. Crawford recently completed five multi-national trainings for ISSA with Stephanie Olmore and Mimi Howard from the University of Colorado, Denver Center for Human Investment Policy.

They presented workshops to Education Ministry personnel, master teachers and university professors from 27 nations. The trainings were held in Montenegro, Albania, Romania, Ukraine and Kyrgyszstan.
