Denver Public Schools will hold a press conference Sept. 18 to announce the Million Words Campaign. As part of the district's comprehensive literacy program, every DPS student will read a million words a year. Schools are implementing this program this fall with a wide variety of exciting, motivational activities. Community partners include the Denver Public Library and local businesses.
