The Board of Education will meet in a work session format Wednesday, August 21 beginning at 11:30 a.m. to discuss the district‚s ongoing Pay For Performance pilot. The meeting is scheduled to run until about 1:30 p.m. The session will be held in Room 706 of the administration building, 900 Grant St.

The Design Team, the group overseeing the pilot, will provide a brief update to Board members and then answer questions.

Denver Public Schools and the Denver Classroom Teachers Association are engaged in a collaborative and groundbreaking effort to investigate the interrelated issues of student achievement, teaching processes and teacher compensation.
