At 4:00 p.m. this afternoon (June 6) in room #706 staff at DPS will provide an update to the Board of Education on the progress of responding to a recent Civil Rights Commission report.

The report looks into the disparities between black and white students at four Denver Public Schools high schools: East, George Washington, Manual and Montbello.

The commission's report is a research-based study of the disparity in educational achievement and provides recommendations for students, parents, teachers, and administrators on how to address this gap in achievement.
