Central registration for elementary and middle school students new to DPS begins July 1st and ends July 31st. Parents can come to the Welcome Center at 900 Grant Street, Room #105 to register their children attending traditional and year-round calendar schools.
Items needed for registration are a birth certificate, immunization records and proof of address such as a utility bill. Choice forms that allow parents to "choice" into a school other than their own neighborhood school will be available. Transportation exception forms will also be available.
High school students will need to register at their own neighborhood high school site. Walk-in registration days for middle and high Schools will be August 6th & 7th. Schools starts August 19th for traditional calendar schools. If you are unsure what school your child will attend, staff at the Welcome Center will be ready to assist you.
