DAFFY - the Denver Academy Film Festival for Youth - took place this Saturday, May 11 at the University of Denver.
Students represented middle schools and high schools along the Front Range. There were 17 awards given and students from Denver School of the Arts - including Video Cinema Arts and History Day class students - received nine of those awards.
One film, “Somnium,” won Best Picture and will be featured in the Denver International Film Festival this October.
