Northwest Area Invites Community To The North High School "Meet the Finalists" Event

Mr. John Ludwig and Dr. Offie Hobbs are both finalists for the position of North High School principal next year. On Thursday, May 2, finalists will spend the morning touring the school on their own. The afternoon will be spent with students and staff. Then from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. each candidate will speak to the community and be available for questions. Anyone that would like to have some input in the selection of the next principal is welcome to attend. Ludwig is currently the lead teacher in an alternative night high school and an art/reading teacher at Morey Middle School. He has twelve years of experience as a DPS teacher including four years in the English Language Acquisition program and three years administrative experience at Night High School. Hobbs currently serves as District Administrator and Elementary Principal of the Alain Lock Charter Academy in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He has been actively employed in elementary and secondary schools for the last 19 years.
