Merrill Middle School's Annual Progress Report pick-up evening, known as The Spring Fling, will happen this year on Thursday, April 18.
The lively and informative event includes 25 information booths for students and families. Among them: a youth boxing program, state Representative Andrew Romanoff, Denver Recreation Centers, Colorado Outward Bound, Boy & Girl Scouts, Colorado School of Mines, Girls Incorporated, Gates Camp Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver, Disney Tours, Grandview Grange, Youth Crisis Hotline, SOAR, Rocky Mountain Dairy Association, Circle of Concern Consortium, Museo de las Americas, PFLAG, Black American West History Museum, University of Denver, University of Colorado, DARE, Rainbow Bridge, Parent Magazine, Sierra Club, and Red Cross.
The evening will also feature the singing group "Sweet Adelines," including Merrill Middle School's own vocal music teacher, Melody Horgan.
Information about summer activities, entertainment, food, student projects, international tables that students have designed and valuable information for family activities and resources will be available.
