On Friday, March 22 Maria Mitchell Elementary School will host a Community Fair for 25 community agencies to provide information about their services. Several agencies will also give presentations.

The fair will run from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the school, 1350 E. 33rd Ave. The fair is running in conjunction with the school's parent-teacher conferences that day.

Agencies planning to attend include:

• Denver Housing Authority, including Section 8
  
• Denver Health
  
• Inner City Heath
  
• Project PAVE (violence prevention)
  
• LEAP (assistance with public service)
  
• Curtis Park Community Resource Center
  
• St. Charles Recreation Center
  
• Metro CareRing (food and clothing)
  
• Focus Points (education)

Highlights include the following topics:

• Health 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. & 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
  
• Education 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
  
• Employment 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
  
• Housing 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

• Counseling 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon
