Look For Rosedale Second-Graders On Tricycles At St. Patrick's Day Parade

This year's St. Patrick's Day Parade this year will include Rosedale Elementary School students riding their tricycles.

Rosedale students were invited to ride in the parade due to the school's support and promotion of various safety programs during the past year.

Officer Bob Montoya of the Denver Police Department's Traffic Operations Department works each year with one school to enter a safety exhibit into the parade.

Rosedale students will rotate riding their tricycles behind the float and taking breaks and riding on the float itself.

The DPS safety mascot, Pazi the Parrot – a creation of the Risk Management office – will also join the parade.

The parade kicks off Saturday morning, March 16 in downtown Denver (rain or shine) starting at about 9:40 a.m.
