The Denver Board of Education has a new on-line presence with a site that features up-to-date meeting agendas, board member biographies, a map of the five regional district seats, and electronic versions of "Board News," the publication that reports on each Board meeting.

The site also includes a complete archive of Board News, dating back to 1998.

Community members, parents, school and district staff can keep track of upcoming Board of Education meeting dates and view a detailed copy of upcoming agendas.

The site will also include, to the extent possible, electronic copies of relevant documents before the Board. This week, for instance, a copy of a proposal for the redesign of the Career Education Center is posted on the site. Look under "Board Meetings," then "Meeting Agendas," and then "Related Documents."

The board pages can be accessed through the district's extensive web site, www.denver.k12.co.us.
