Students will bring their mothers and fathers to school with them Friday, February 8 in an effort to encourage parental involvement at Hallett Science/Technology Academy.
"The purpose of our project is to create powerful relationships with parents, the media, and our political representatives," said Hallett principal Shireen Truesdale. "Hallett is committed to teaching our students and we know that parents play a key role in that learning - and in creating a strong learning environment at home."
Parents may come for the entire day or just for an hour or two. The school day starts at 8:55 a.m. and runs until 3:30 p.m. Parents are asked to bring a sack lunch.
Hallett Science/Technology Academy is located at 2950 Jasmine Street in the Park Hill neighborhood of northeast Denver. For more information, please call the school, 303-355-7359.
