South High School’s International Students Association Presents $565 For Low Income Families In Pakistan

WHO: Officers and members of the South High School International Students Association (ISA), a group of 45 students from approximately 20 countries.

WHAT: Will present checks totaling $565.00 from their fundraising efforts to The School House Project.

WHEN: Thursday, February 28, 10:40 a.m.

WHERE: Room 124, South High School, 1700 E. Louisiana Ave.

WHY: The School House Project is providing support for Alimtiaz Academy, a non-religious school for children of low-income families in Abbottabad, Pakistan. Donations will help fund scholarships ($90.00 covers a full year's tuition), books, and computers.

HOW: ISA members made posters, created a display, manned a collection, table, visited classrooms, and donated their profits from after-school pizza sales.
