Garden Place Academy Seeks Applicants For The Denver Baccalaureate Program

Time is running out for parents to enroll their children in the Baccalaureate Program at Garden Place Elementary School in Northeast Denver. The program is designed for students who are at or above grade level and could benefit from a structured academic classroom, which accelerates learning and prepares students for success in advanced middle school classes.

First- through fifth-graders interested in rigorous academics and Spanish language study may be ready for the challenge of this magnet program. Qualified students focus on developing their creative and critical thinking abilities, as well as strengthening their writing skills.

The Baccalaureate program is a magnet, which provides transportation to and from each student's home school. The application deadline is February 15, 2002. For more information on the program and the application process, please call 303-295-7785 and an application and brochure will be mailed to your home.
