Frances Owens, First Lady of Colorado, will visit Columbine Elementary School (2540 E. 29th St.) on Friday December 14th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This visit is part of the First Lady's Read 2002 Tour.

Owens will present 100 books donated by Scholastic Books to Columbine's library, and a bookmark and brochure to each student for the Governor's Reading Challenge Program.

During those hours, Owens will receive a school tour, meet administration and staff, read to Kindergarten students, and answer questions.
