Patriotic peace songs and skits will be presented Tuesday, November 13 during a "Heal The World" assembly at University Park Elementary School. Kindergarten and second-grade students will lead the sing-along program.

The event will begin at 2:30 p.m. Songs to be performed "America the Beautiful", "We Shall Overcome", "Let There Be Peace On Earth", and "Heal The World". "America The Beautiful" will be accompanied by a slide show.

The assembly will honor:

• Fourth-grade student Krystine Bybee, who encouraged the school to give money to help the New York victims with her "Make a Difference" campaign.
  
• Fifth-grade student Jason Martineau and students in rooms 101, 108 and 112 for their efforts in the "Dollars for Kids in Afghanistan" campaign.
  
• English Language Acquisition teacher Gloria Dogan and third-grade teacher Patricia Romero for their efforts and contributions. Mrs. Romero's class is working on a special "Around The World Study".
