On Tuesday, December 4th, at 7:30
p.m., Broncos' safety George Coghill will talk about the importance
of literacy and staying in school with parents of Broncos Academy
students. Coghill is this year's player spokesperson for Denver
Broncos Academy, a program funded through Broncos Charities over
the past several years and newly funded this year in partnership
with INVESCO Funds.
In his role as spokesperson, Coghill will spend time with the Academy
students throughout the remainder of the school year. A teacher
himself, Coghill will assist the students with their core classes
and provide motivational talks to keep their focus in the classroom.
In addition, Coghill has committed four of his own season tickets
to all home games for kids in the program who have achieved certain
milestones in their education. Coghill's presentation on December
4th will be held at East High School (1545 Detroit St.) in Denver.
His role off the field and in the community has resulted in his
selection as November's NFL Extra Effort winner for the Denver Broncos.
