McDonald's has adopted Centennial
Elementary School as part of its "building partnerships with
schools and the community" program. Centennial will receive
20 percent of the total profits made during a three-hour period
when staff members will be volunteering to "work the counters."
"This should be an exciting and profitable event for all,"
said Centennial Elementary School Principal Joellen Davis. "The
money will help the school purchase more books and classroom materials
including much needed science supplies."
Teachers and staff will be "working" at McDonald's on
Thursday, November 15, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the restaurant
located at 3340 W. 38th Avenue.
