Outfielder for the Colorado Rockies, Todd Hollandsworth, will help Students at the Hallett Science/Technology Academy dedicate their new baseball field. The field, which is sponsored by Hollandsworth, will be named after him for his support.

"We hope that the new field will be a good opportunity for the community to come together and know it will be fun for everyone to use," said Shireen Truesdale, Hallett Academy Principal.

The dedication ceremony will take place on Wednesday, September 26, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. at the school, 2950 Jasmine St. The ball field was made possible with the help of the Colorado Rockies Baseball Club, the Robert R. McCormick Tribune Foundation, Denver Public Schools, and the Hallett community.

Since 1996, the Field of Dreams program has improved ball fields at seven other DPS sites.
