The Board of Education has two meetings scheduled for Thursday, September 20.

Following is a look at the tentative agenda items:

1. Work Session, 4 p.m., Room 706

   · Follow up on Pedestrian Hazards Walking to School

2. Legislative Meeting, 6:15 p.m, First Floor Board Room

Among the items being considered for approval are settlements with several labor organizations, including the Association of Building, Grounds and Warehouse Service Personnel, the Facility Managers Association, the Communication Workers of America, the DPS Association of Food Services Employees, and the Denver Federation of Paraprofessionals.

The Board will also consider on first reading a policy revision that would provide a severance pay stipend of $1,200 for any administrator, manager or supervisor who is eligible for retirement and who submits by February 15 an irrevocable retirement request effective at the end of the school
