Capitol Hill and Morey Middle School Dedicate Neighborhood Mural

This summer, ten youths and renowned artist Miss Carlota Espinoza created a mural at 13th and Clarkson that represents the Capitol Hill area and its diversity.

On Saturday, September 15th, Morey and friends will dedicate the mural at 11:00 a.m. at Morey Middle School's south parking lot, 840 East 14th Avenue.

The community will also welcome new Morey Middle School Principal Kristin Waters, showcase the school's renovations and celebrate the reopening of the Morey Neighborhood Center.

The day will also include food, prize drawings, face painting, swim lessons, Spanish lessons and more between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
