Wide World Of Emily Day II - Wednesday, May 16
In celebration of the many diverse cultures represented by students and staff at Emily Griffith Opportunity School, the school will hold The Wide World of Emily Day II on Wednesday, May 16.Students and staff represent as many as 128 different countries, cultures, and backgrounds. One of the most exciting aspects of the day will be the conversations between English as a Second Language students and Emily Griffith High School students.
The day also allows for cultural sharing through food, coffee drinks, music, dance, Tai Chi, student writings, and student artwork. In past years, the large variety of ethnic foods has been a big hit.
