Initial Interviews With
Superintendent Candidates Today

The Board of Education today announced the names of the three candidates
who will be the initial interviewees for the superintendent opening in
Denver Public Schools.
The three initial interviews will be conducted today and tomorrow.
Board of Education President Elaine Gantz Berman said the interview process
will continue through the end of the month.
The interviews begin this afternoon at 2:30 p.m. in the Board of Education
offices, Room 706. The Board will begin its meeting at 2:00 p.m. The meeting
is closed.
The three candidates being interviewed today and tomorrow are:
- Jim Polsfut (2:30 p.m. interview today)
Chairman, Cordillera Asset Management
- Jerry Wartgow (6:30 p.m. interview today)
President Emeritus, Colorado Community College and Occupational Education
System
- Libia Socorro Gil (interview time to be determined, Wednesday)
Superintendent, Chula Vista Elementary School District, Chula Vista,
California
