Hundreds To Be Recognized
For Their Contributions To Denver Public Schools
April 26, 2001
Hundreds of Denver Public Schools employees - teachers, principals, paraprofessionals,
bus drivers, custodians, food service worker and more - will be recognized
for their ongoing contribution to Denver Public Schools during an event
at All City Stadium Friday, April 27th.
The event will begin at 11:15 a.m. at the stadium, which is located next
to South High School (1700 E. Louisiana Ave.).
Superintendent Bernadette Seick and other district officials will be among
those recognizing employees who have served for 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30,
35 and 40 years. Two individuals have reached the 40-year mark.
Friday is a district-wide planning day in Denver Public Schools; there
are no classes.
