Superintendent Candidate Libia Gil's Visit, Schedule Today

Dr. Libia Socorro Gil, Superintendent of Chula Vista Elementary School District in Southern California, will tour three schools and be quizzed during an evening community forum during a daylong visit today.

The visit will include a tour of the school and informal visits with teachers, staff, and principal. There will be press availability in the afternoon and a public community forum in the evening.

The 90-minute forum will be broadcast on Denver cable station Channel 22. It will be re-broadcast immediately afterward and the following morning at 7:00 a.m. Those in attendance will have time to ask questions of the candidate and viewers at home will have the ability to ask questions via telephone, fax or e-mail.
