School Redesign Proposals Top Board of Education Agendas For Thursday, February 15

The Board of Education has two meetings scheduled for Thursday, February 15.

The meetings and agenda items are:

Work Session, 4 p.m., Room 706

• Review of legislative meeting items
  
• Closed meeting (personnel)
  

Legislative Meeting, 6:15 p.m.,
First Floor Board Room

• School Redesign Proposals - Sabin Elementary School (adding grade six) and Del Pueblo,
  Ford Maxwell, and McGlone elementary schools (switching to continuous year calendars);
  
• Boundaries for new Montbello elementary;
  
• Approval of Pacificare and Kaiser as medical carriers for the district;
  
• Changes to a policy on student interrogation, searches and arrests;
  
• Changes to a policy on waiver procedures for schools;
  
• Changes to a policy credit in “AP” (Advanced Placement) classes;
  
• Approval of special transportation zone for Park West neighborhood in southwest Denver.
  

Both meetings will be held at the administration building, 900 Grant St.
