Community Involvement Needed
For Designing New Projects
Community members are invited to apply to serve on committees being formed
now to help design three new construction projects in Denver Public Schools
- A new classroom addition at Garden Place Academy (4425 Lincoln St.)
- A new classroom addition at Swansea Elementary School (4650 Columbine
St.)
- A new library at Denison Montessori (1821 S. Yates St.)
The Board of Education is seeking parents, teachers and community members
to serve on the Construction Advisory Committees for the Garden Place
and Swansea Projects. The Construction Advisory Committees will each include
eight-members who will play a major role in deciding the appearance of
the addition.
For Denison, the Board of Education is seeking parents, teachers and community
members to serve on the Program Design Advisory Committee. The Program
Design Advisory Committee, an eleven-member committee, will play a major
role in deciding how the addition will enhance the educational program
at Denison.
All committees will start meeting in March and are expected to finish
work in about six weeks.
If you are interested, send your letter of interest for any of the committees
to the Board of Education by March 5. In your letter, please:
- Include your name, address and telephone number.
