Northwest Denver Chess Challenge Is February 24

Kindergarteners through twelfth graders are invited to participate in the Northwest Denver Chess Challenge on Saturday, February 24, at Brown Elementary School.

Both Junior Varsity and Varsity Divisions will be held for students in all grade levels. Junior Varsity matches will be held for non-rated chess players who are not members of the United States Chess Federation (USCF); varsity for USCF members.

Entry fees are $5 for those who pre-register by February 21; $7 at the door. Tournament proceeds will benefit the Brown Elementary School Chess Club. Please make checks payable to Brown Elementary School PTA.

Registration on the day of the event is from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.; check-in begins at 8:00 a.m. with an all-player meeting at 8:30 a.m.
