Board Meeting Agendas For Thursday, January 4

The Board of Education has three meetings scheduled for Thursday, January 4.

The 4:00 p.m. Staff Hearing will include:

• An update from the Citizens Budget Task Force;
• An update from the Citizens Committee on Bond Expenditures;
• Naming of the new southwest Denver elementary school;
• The Northwest Denver Dual-Language Montessori Self-Sufficiency Tuition Plan.

The main agenda item for the 5:00 p.m. work session (in Room 706) is the district's budget process.

At the 7:00 p.m. monthly public hearing, 19 speakers have signed up on a variety of topics including the Bradley/Southmoor boundary change proposal, transportation issues, the superintendent search, gifted education, and the Florence Crittenton school.

The staff reports and public hearing meetings will be held in the First Floor Board Room at 900 Grant Street and will be carried on cable television (Channel 22) in Denver.
