Donations Needed For New Library At Fairview

November 8, 2000

Fiction.
Best-sellers.
Non-fiction books less than five years old.
Cookbooks.
Current magazines.
Craft books, art books, holiday books, cultural cook
books, health books - and more.

They are all needed to help stock a new community library for adults at Fairview Elementary School, 2715 W. 11th Ave.

"Our community wants access to a nearby library for our parents," said Fairview principal Norma Giron. "Their love of reading is important, too. The book mobile comes during the day, which is fine, but it's not accessible to working parents. The school and the community will build one together - for the parents."

Giron said the school has received a grant to pay a librarian to work two nights a week until 6 p.m.

To stock the library, the school is now accepting all book and magazine donations that are in good condition.

Please call Fairview Elementary School at 303-623-7193 for more information.
