Lively Open House For Students At Hill Middle School Tonight
August 24, 2000
School doesn't start until September 5, but new students at Hill Middle School will have a chance to explore their new surroundings during a fun-filled open house tonight (August 24).
The evening will offer students and parents information about the difference between elementary and middle schools, grading systems, and other Hill-specific information.
Students and parents will tour the school, visit classrooms, and meet the Hill staff. The evening will include dinner and a Scavenger Quest Game.
The evening begins at 5:30 p.m. with dinner. Tours of the school begin at 6:30 p.m., and the Scavenger Quest Game will begin at 7:00 p.m.
The program is being funded through the Safe Schools, Healthy Students Initiative, a $9 million, three-year grant from the federal government designed to develop a comprehensive safety net for at-risk students.
Hill Middle School is located at 451 Clermont Street. For more information, call 303-399-0254.
