RFP Issued For Superintendent Search

August 18, 2000

The Board of Education has issued a "Request for Proposals" from search firms interested in conducting a nationwide search for a Superintendent, Board president Elaine Gantz Berman announced today.

Proposals will be due September 8 and the Board plans to award a contract to the winning vendor on September 22.

The winning search firm will identify applicants, develop an application process, solicit applications nationally, and develop and execute strategies for including the Board, staff, and the community in the search process.

"The Board is committed to hiring the best possible Superintendent for DPS, and we're counting on a search firm to bring us the top candidates, within education circles and outside of those circles," Berman said.

Firms interested in a copy of the RFP should contact Ann Stoyle, Purchasing Manager, at 720-423-3334. A full copy of the RFP may be downloaded from here. (Adobe Acrobat required)
